This inaugural edition of “On The Rise” selected as its feature artist vocalist Jonathan Gilmore. The show will be held at The Living Well, located at 2443 North Charles Street

He may be the eldest son of popular singer/political activist/performer Lea Gilmore ), but Jonathan definitely has created his own musical lane. He has been a popular presence at the city’s various open mic venues, but is finally ready to release his own project. Gilmore is currently putting the finishing touches on “Walking On Water”, an EP that will be released in early 2015. Jonathan will join forces with his powerful background singers, “The Experience” and music director Jeff Mitchell to tear down the house with classic covers and heartfelt originals. Hosted by Ellen Gee…
