One Koast Entertainment’s Frozen Harbor Music Festival continues throughout the rest of this weekend down at Rams Head Live and various other venues throughout the Power Plant area. Over 70 acts, including local, regional and national performers have been doing their performance thing since last night. Now I know some of you may have been too tired from your work week to get out, but its a beautiful day in Baltimore today, so why not get out and soak your ears in some amazing live music.
Tickets are available at the door at all venues, including Rams Head. You can go to www.ramsheadlive.com if you want to purchase advance tickets, and go to The Frozen Harbor event page on Facebook at www.facebook.com/events/1426593444236511/ to get details on the performances tonight and tomorrow. Doors open at Rams Head at 6 p.m.
I do want to take a minute to spotlight one local performer who I think the world of — Chin Yer. While she does do a lot of things behind the scenes with her Baltimore Scene organization, including putting together events, tonight she will be fronting her alternative rock band at Frozen Harbor. She hits the stage at Rams Head at 7 p.m., and if you’ve never had the pleasure of hearing her amazing vocals and the musicians that back her up, trust me, you want to. You can get details about her particular performance at www.facebook.com/events/243198619196328.
And you can get a taste of her and her band LIVE at the Ottobar at 98 Rock’s Noise In The Basement.
